The new next version beta is currently being uploaded, and includes the beginnings of a death math mode. You'll see an animated soldier running during the main menu. This is the death match selection, and sorry I'll get around to labeling it before the official next version ;)

Most important, this new NVB has _dRaMaTiCalLy_ improved net code. I would recommend this NVB even you plan on playing coop. Just download the version labeled beta test.

8/31

fixed customized skin not loading in deathmatch

fixed head occlusion, you won't see through the inside of your head on certain weapons

fixed the scoreboard, start button

added player names above character in coop and deathmatch

added ragdoll corpses for players

fixed movement for joystick/thumbstick/dual analogue controllers, now moves smoothly in the direction you press your joystick instead of the limited 4 directions control used before.

more to come...

still broken:

minigun is borked in multiplayer.

Set up a new menu to add map choice and fix inviting, this is still very rough as is the shanty fort map. Not all compatibility optimizations have been done but uploaded the file ending in 914.apk anyways for testing. There will probably be a bug fixed optimized version tomorrow with quick match restored as well. Right now you can only start private invite lobbies. As such, I've also left the last beta version up so you can still get into death match. Make sure you're keeping track of which version you're using when testing, otherwise you may be reporting non-existent errors due to version conflicts.
