Cheri was wandering around the city in his dog form, tail drooping and ears pricked back, eyes big and scared. He wandered in between the legs of human passerby.

the tall nervous bun wandered through the crowd, hiding his ears and his scent prominent, the sweet smell of bubblegum mixed with heavy musk

Cheri smelled something and raised his nose to the air, sniffing. His ears perked up, head tilting

"Aru?"

He started trotting after the scent, tail wagging lazily. The bun started picking up on a scent himself, a super milky smell of cinnamon and brown sugar. The smell was dulled somewhat by the musky scent of another alpha, but still strangely prominent to him.

“hmm…odd…a…pregnant alpha?”

That’s what he thought, due to the milkyness of the smell, so he stopped in his tracks a little and looked around

There was a small yelp as Cheri bumped into the bun's legs. He morphed back into his human form, sitting on his ass and rubbing his nose. And yes, he was very, very pregnant.
