Multiple tag selection on Mac

On MacOS 1Monterey 12.01 using v.0.30.0 and v.0.31.0, holding control and clicking on tags doesn't seem to allow selection of any tags. I tried Cmd too and that allows selection of single tags (like just clicking without any modifier key), but not multiple tags.

Oh dear!

I’m not sure what might be happening there, so I have lots of questions.

So when Control is held down, no tags can be selected at all, is that correct?

If you select a tag, without control held, and click a different one with it held, does the first one become deselected, or does nothing happen? Does Deepdwn stay focused when you do?

If you click a selected tag while control is held, what happens?

Do you have any other apps that might be interfering with Ctrl+click?

Are you using an external keyboard?

Can you tell me what you see when you click the button here with Control held? With Command?

Thanks!

That's right.

The first tag becomes deselected.

Yes, you mean that the window doesn't change to another application, right?

-- If you click a selected tag while control is held, what happens?

Nothing.

Not that I am aware of. Is there a way to check?

No.

Unfortunately, the link seems to have expired. It says "This debug view expired."

Thanks for the responses!

I’m not aware of one offhand, but it seems pretty unlikely that’s the issue. Just trying to cover all bases.

Sorry about that. Here’s one that won’t (I hope): https://codepen.io/billiam/full/bGoaGJw

If you have google chrome or chromium installed, it would be helpful to know the result there.

To confirm, you’re control-clicking tags (not categories) correct?

When I click without any modifiers, I get "No modifiers pressed".

When I click with Cmd, I get "Command key was pressed"

When I click with Ctl, I get a pop-up menu like this:

Thanks! It seems like control click is not going to work. I’ll replace that with command-click in the next version.
