This was really well done and super great! The tone that is set as well as the music and art really go together so much and make it such a fun visual novel to play! (Video below if anyone wants to watch!)
Loved the contrast from the normal/ cute art to the actually really creepiness of the art using the same style in the mansion, it really set the ambience well, and even more so with the music coming in and out as well as the typewriter sound for the text, which made it feel more like being in a mystery novel.
The game was great, and if you ever continue the Stillwater series, it would be super cool to see what more of the story you guys have and the explanations about Hugo's 'sight and burden' and the mystery of this game's universe! I think the ambiguity of what Hugo has and the world building has really allows players to conclude things on their own and it even is metaphorical, which is super cool!
Great job on it, it was really fun to play and good luck for the next project!
I can't even describe how much I love this game! I played through the whole game in one sitting, but had to split the video into two parts, and it was amazing. I got the good ending, and I didn't get any jumpscares, so I'm hoping that when I play through the game again to get the bad ending I'll get some. Fantastic game!

I'm using the android version. I can't play it, it keeps crashing and resetting the game. If it was just crashes (which were pretty frequent), I could probably keep playing but it resets everything so my save are gone everytime (I could only manage to get ONE save due to the crashing) and I cants even skip dialogues I've already seen. I'm using Oppo F11, Android 11 with tons of storage.

I loved it! The music was really good and the characters were enjoyable. The art looked nice and the story was interesting. Overall everything worked really well together.

honestly, i expected this game to be a bit more scary (since it said it included jumpscares, but i didnt get any lol) but it was worth playing! i thought it was gonna be cliche (well, for some scenes like when Hugo took the locket) but it ended out well. i wonder..does that "caretaker" somewhat mysteriously takes part in this soon? (i only got the good ending and didnt try to get the other one, so im not sure)
i love this game so much! i've been looking for a game like this for a long time, and i finally found it! i love detective games and games that gives you a dark feeling. the art, the plot, the music, and the characters all combined are incredible! i also love the BGs and sprites. they're all so well-done! what i especially loved about this game was the world and atmosphere you guys created :) it made me feel that i'm really with hugo and noah.
i really hope you guys create another game in the future! i look forward to it. kudos and thank you to the devs for giving us such an amazing game! <3

I just finished playing the game. I love the plot, the art style, EVERYTHING OMG. I just feel like the jumpscares would've been scarier if the sound fx was too but that aside, everything is great! I'm still confused as to how (SPOILERS) Henry suddenly became young then old again but I also feel like it's left like that for the player's own interpretation. Same goes with the green eyes going on. I'm guessing the guilt? And Hugo's got green eyes too hm. Anyways, thank you so much for this game! You all did a good job and keep it up! <33
Hi!! I write articles and reviews for passion and to earn a living. I am currently writing about Stillwater which requires a playthrough so I thought I'd pop in and leave my thoughts.
I am so deeply impressed with this work of art. I'm literally only a few minutes in, but the level of writing, the artwork, the music, it all sort of draws you in so quickly. The depth of story that you managed to weave within the first few minutes is awe-inspiring. It's impossible not to instantly fall into the storyline and I cannot wait to see how it turns out.
Props to creating two separate ending scenarios, don't think that's something I've come across much, to this level of detail at least. It's so heartwarming to come across a fellow writer of note on itch.io.
The entire atmosphere feels less like a game and more cinematic if anything. Keep doing what you're doing, I don't think I'm alone in saying that you're incredibly talented. I'd go so far as to call you a visionary in the mystery genre.

Also, the eerie feeling I got while playing Stillwater gave me the goosebumps, and the way you chose the soundtrack for the game is fantastic. Oh! I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but Noah reminds me of Kaeya from Genshin Impact hahaha.
