He heard Uraraka shouting behind him, along with the sound of sand puffing up as Tsu hopped over-he couldn't hear him but he guessed Shinsou was with Uraraka as well. His gaze stayed focus on the human though, just stroking his hair and humming under his breath as he lovingly stared down at him.
I would assume-that he's about to get yelled at by the other three-but he didn't care, his focus was entirely on Todoroki-and Imma do a pro-gamer move-some mermaids actually had magic, and Deku was one of them-he could heal people through his singing. So he was singing softly, trying to just heal Todoroki's cuts and scrapes as he carded his hair with one hand, the other caressing his cheek.
Pffft-, Heh. I always thought that mermaids were just kinda unable to physically use magic, due to the lack of actual needs for it.
