Loved the art style and presentation in general, is one of the best in this Jam. But I didn't really like the level design for some reason, I think it wasn't very intuitive for me or maybe is missing some kind of motivation to continue exploring the game. I will continue playing later after finish with other entries, after that I will have a better feedback for you.

graphically impressiv, fast gameplay, doesn't get boring. Good game.

Lovely art style! The character really pops. There's a bit of jitter in the background, and there's a chunk in the middle of the map that feels a bit empty, but otherwise the aesthetic is gorgeous.

The movement is a bit weird, as after a jump, the character still travels in the direction even after the key is no longer pressed, which makes controlling her mid-air a bit floaty. The combat against the regular enemies felt nice enough, except the torpedo guys in that tunnel where you couldn't really go anywhere to avoid their projectiles.

The boss himself was a bit underwhelming, his moveset was a bit murky to discern and he does little enough damage that spamming him with attack is more worth than trying to be fancy. The HUD is also a bit aesthetically mismatched from the rest of the game, especially the boss healthbar.

That aside though, lovely project, definitely has the potential to shine!

I think it is a really good game with huge potential.

What I didn't like that the mechanics are not really smooth when you jump it doesn't really feel good.
But still a good game with really good graphics!

Keep it up

Could you elaborate on which mechanics are not smooth and what about the jumping didn't feel good?  There is still some time left in the jam so if my controls are wonky I'd like to know so I could try and make corrections.  Cheers.

Jumping is not really smooth. It feels like I am jumping to far.

Cheers

Thanks.  I'll tinker with gravity and jump velocity to see what could be done.
