That'd be because they aren't a stable image. Basically it screwed up the timing and you get super speed. Always save in the main square for the most stable experience!
Thanks for the reply! I do tend tend to save in the town square, although sometimes the circumstances force me to quit the game during a fight or dialog/event scene IYKWIM ( ͡° ͜ʖ├┬┴┬┴
