there's a bunch of different noble vampire households all over the world, ruling in different continents. The vampire monarchy, of course located in Romania and the Carpathian Mountains, is at the center of this hierarchy, in charge of making the laws, while the society of vampire knights existing within each household is in charge of enforcing them. Since the reach of the vampires is so vast, the king and queen are frequently out in the world tending to various issues, leaving the prince as the stand-in to tend to things at the palace. The servants of the palace are mortal and switch out frequently as they are there for the vampires to dine on at their leisure, inducing amnesia within them through their hypnotic gaze so the servants neither question nor leave, not that they really could.
The vampire royalty, however, approaches dining on mortals somewhat differently. Since they are the upper class, they do not dine on the common servants but instead on the finest blood the village can provide. Every year, a sacrifice is kidnapped from the village, the person with the freshest, most glorious smelling blood, their aura being strong. Ummm-and that's all the detail I'm really gonna provide because honestly like-I don't wanna write anymore.
