Everyone has a role, Alpha, Beta or Omega. It begins to show when you're four, and is not affected by gender or sex.
What are the three Roles?
Alpha
The Alphas are the more aggressive of the roles. They are the larger and stronger ones, the dominant ones in bed. They are males or females pumped full of testosterone. Males can't get pregnant, although the females have a small chance of getting pregnant. Females can impregnate their mates, however. All Alphas have larger penises and are the ones to fight over an Omega. They can mark their mates and it will be permanent. A pure breed is an alpha born of two alphas and is the strongest kind of alpha, making anyone they wish to bow down.
Beta
Betas are the normal, everyday person. They can still breed with other Betas, but they cannot get Omegas pregnant. Male and female Betas can reproduce. Sometimes even a female Alpha and a female Beta can reproduce. They can also mark their mates though it will fade over time and have to be redone.
Omegas
Omegas are the softer and more gentle of the roles. They are nurturing parents who raise their children and they have the easiest time getting pregnant, alongside Beta females. The female Omegas use their systems as normal, getting pregnant that way and then nurturing the child like they should. But for the males, it is very different. All Omegas go through heats. Omegas are the smaller ones with less muscle and smaller penises if they are male. Their mark will not stay on their mate unless they are fated mates.
What is Knotting?
Knotting is where an Alpha's penis enlarges at the base to lock inside the Omega, giving them a better chance at breeding and producing offspring. It Also symbolizes the completion of the mark. Once the knot is inside of the mate it can't be removed until fully gone down or it can cause pain to both sides.
What is Marking?
A mark is where you bite into the scent gland. An Alpha and Fated Mates can mark their mate at any time, however Betas and Omegas (if not fated) have to do it during the knotting process. The Omega has to be fated to the Alpha or Beta for their mark to be permanent, or it will fade after a day. A Beta's mark has to be redone every few years as it will begin to fade. Marking is a way to show what is theirs and is to ward off any other alphas/omegas.
What is a Scent Gland?
Scent Glands are found in the junction between the shoulder and neck. Everyone's scent is completely different, Alphas have a stronger, more musky scent, Betas have a range depending on the person and Omega's have sweet scents. Scents are also a way to express strong emotions. A fun fact is male Omega scent changes slightly when pregnant giving it more of a milky scent which grows milkier as the pregnancy progresses. Mates show affection by rubbing their scent glands together. It is seen as a sexual act for a mate to lick their mate's scent gland which is more of an Alpha thing to do.
What is a Heat?
During their heat Omegas are at their most fertile. During heat, the reproductive parts (Asshole) grow slightly bigger to help ease any pain. They also produce slick, which is a natural lube made by only the males. It tastes sweet to their mates. If they have an Alpha mate, they will never leave their side unless they need to get their Omega food or water. They mainly have sex and then rest. They keep a watchful eye over their Omega, listening to them and caring for them. But in bed, they still are the dominant ones. If an Omega has no mate, it could be dangerous for them to even leave the house. So if they don't have a mate they lock themselves away and use toys to get through it. During these heats, the hormones in an Omega go crazy. A strong scent is released during the heats, causing Alphas to smell it and chase after the Omega. If there is already an Alpha with that Omega, they will fight the other Alphas off. There are pills to stop the horniness and heat for a while and patches which go over the scent gland to dull the scent. A heat happens depending on the breed of omega
Bunny- 3 or 4 days every month
Dog/cat - 1 week every 3 months
other -1 week every 6 months
What is a Rut?
A rut is an Alpha version of a heat. They are more aggressive and dominant during this time. It can be brought on by an Omega's heat. While in a rut an Alpha is highly aroused and will seek out an unclaimed Omega to mate with. If they have a Fated Mate they will go after them. A rut length and when it happens also depends on breeds, it normally ends around the same time as their mate's heat (if they have an Omega)
Fox - 5 days each month (the first is a pre-rut which sets off an omega's heat if they have a mate)
Wolf - 1 week every two months
Other - is every three weeks
What is Mating?
It is basically where you and your mate make love (have sex). The mark is made during the first mating session. A mate's body can withstand their mate in every way so once one they are marked they can withstand a rut/heat
What are Fated Mates?
Fated Mates are extremely rare and hardly ever happen. Being a Fated Mate means you are destined no matter what and are drawn to each other instantly without knowing as it is your roles connecting.
What is a Nest?
A nest is a place where an Omega can be comfortable, whether they are in heat or just having a bad day. It can be a closet or a couch, a small room or a bed. It will usually be filled with soft things, most smelling like their mate if they have one. It usually makes them feel comfortable at all times, even if they feel they are about to murder someone. With Omegas being the small fragile creatures they are, it can help them rest. As they get closer to their delivery date, they will most likely spend more and more time in their nest with their Alpha.
How does a Pregnancy Work?
Pregnancy is about the same as in the real world, for Betas at least. For the Omegas, everything sort of changes and flips their world around especially for one who has never had a child before. The male Omega's breasts become slightly bigger (not enough to notice but there is a slight difference). Omegas will most likely be happy about having a child. Alphas will become more and more protective of not just their Omega but also the small child growing inside them.
Noises

Hiss when they are upset at an overbearing Alpha or at a rival Omega who is trying to steal their Alpha.
Purr when they feel completely safe and happy
Squeak when they are suddenly startled
Whine or whimper when they are very needy or scared, they also use it to get their Alpha's attention
~~Alpha~~
Growling is pretty much them using their Alpha voice without speaking. They use it when pissed off by at another Alpha or Beta taking away some of their authority. A light version is used to make an omega submit
Whimpering is used to show they are afraid or are submitting to another alpha and are of no threat
chuff/cuffing is a deep purr like sound which comes from deep within an alpha chest or throat and is used only when they calm and happy around those they love.
Whine when they are very sad

Betas don't usually make noises but they can make all noises.
Whimper when afraid
chuff or purr when happy and around the ones they love.
Squeak when startled.
