Virgil flinched at his touch, eyes opening. He hyperventilated, kicking and squirming against Drac. He fell of the side of the bed and landed on the floor with a groan
Shaking his head, he pressed his back to the corner of the room, curled up in a ball shaking and wheezing, tears streaming down his face as he looked at Drac with wild eyes, hands tangled in his hair
"I-I-It's so loud-e-everything's so loud....w-why can't I hear my heartbeat!?"
"Hey hey. It's okay. You don't have a heartbeat... because you're... not a human anymore. Also you learn to tune out the things that aren't important and it's not so loud anymore. Just try to stay calm ok."
