Do Chrysanthemums really mean that? I was always taught they meant friendship...maybe I still have a lot to learn-I'm a forager, not a florist! And I don't see why your rose can't represent joy-we're all free to interpret our own meaning in things, aren't we?

Indeed you do have a lot to learn. Though Lotus Fawn Lilies do represent friendship. You see that flower? It's a common Lotus. It means purity and enlightenment. You wanna know why? Don't answer because I'll tell you anyways. Even when Lotus roots are in the dirtiest water, or in a place with the worst condition, it still manages to make a beautiful flower. I also left a seed. You should plant it. Make sure it's planted somewhere good.

He wrote his own note, then did something-different...but I'm not gonna say what yet-he grabbed a pot and planted the lotus seed, placing it on the table partially in the shade. He smelled the lotus blossom and smiled down at it, blushing as he tucked it behind his ear.
