Bakugou was attending an auction. That in and of itself was enough to raise some eyebrows among the elite-he usually didn't associate with them, and frankly they sort of preferred it that way-but he was there, and there were pets to be had, and what was anyone to do really other than whisper behind lacy fans and auction paddles....
Music began to blare through tinny speakers as spotlights lit up on the stage. An auctioneer walked out, standing behind the podium as cages were wheeled on stage behind him
"Gentlefolk, boy do we have a show for you! Tonight, our hunters have brought you rare and exotic creatures from all parts of the globe-will one of them be your next buy? Who's to say! But without further ado, let's meet our anthroooossss!"
The lights fell on the cages, rows and rows of anthros trapped and scared-some fought, some huddled back and shrank away from the lights-some beat their wings against the cages-it was a gruesome and extraordinary display.
