I'd like to request this as a potential future feature, as well as asking for help on how to do this myself for now

As in, a city that sits on the convergence of two rivers. Plenty of prominent cities that popped up at such locations.

I'm considering remaking the whole rivers system to enable a wider variety of water features including tributaries, islands etc. For now the only mean of achieving such things is Photoshop :)
