Where did you get that from? I could not find anything about that in the game files. The only thing that affects the baby's race is the father's race and lona's race. To be sure I've done some testing and I was even able to get a deepone baby three times in a row, so it doesn't look like this is the case. However, thanks to this I found out that the amount of semen also affects pregnancy chance. So to truly guarantee pregnancy Lona's hole must be filled to the brim before going to sleep.

By the way Womb Seedbed only affects new pregnancies, changing the amount of stacks won't speed up or slow down lona's current pregnancy. And lastly, the deduction in food is affected not only by pregnancy but also by difficulty, personality, parasites, bowel/bladder seedbed and breastfeeding if I didn't miss anything. None of these involve randomness so if you know all the values then you can even derive the stage of pregnancy from the deduction in food, but to me OP looks like a new player so it's probably better for him to just go to Elise for now

when i did the testing for deep one i noted that whenever i had seedbed it would become fishman instead if i managed to get it without seedbed it became a deepone instead, also thank you for the heads up about the seedbed stacks not applying post pregnancy and as for difficulty i play on hell which is where i derived my hunger values from

Lona gains 1 stack of Womb Seedbed whenever she gives birth to any monster baby, so I get the association but it just so happens to be the other way around. To get a deepone baby the best you can do besides throwing some coins in a well for good luck is to get an abortion at Elise until you get a deepone and then reload your save.

you can also get wombseedbed stacks at random on a pregnancy check if you get a stack it isn't considered having gotten pregnant you can infact grind all the way to 10 stacks without actually getting pregnant but it requires a decent amount of luck and the stacks won't build if you become pregnant not that 10 stacks is very fun on hell mode with lactation incontinence happening every time you hit red 5 or red 10 on the bar pretty much causing you to force lactate upwards of 5 times per day going around the map so its not really worth it also womb seedbed applies a x0.2 modifier to human/moot/deepone pregnancy chance and a x2 modifier to monster pregnancy chances
