Roman came down to the cave in the morning-and found Ez passed out asleep on the sand-with two very human legs
"What the-?! E-Ezra, are you-, oh god dammit, h-how did-, why-, AGH, questions for later!"
He ran over to ezra and crouched down, lifting him up slightly-
He stirred a bit and woke up, eyelids fluttering. He smiled up at him
"Oh thank god, y-your not dead! Ezra, w-what happened to you, aren't you a merman, n-not-, y-you know!"
He grinned and opened his mouth, going to speak-then his face fell, realizing-
