I KNOW-
our faces turned so red from our laughter
and my reading / English teacher was my 4th grade teacher
and we were in her class
and i told her
"Isn't this sad? That me and Kerem killed this ant on my paper?"
and she looked at the paper where the ant was laying and said..
"..Nataly, you gotta be kidding me."
AND ME AND KEREM JUST LOOKED AT EACH OTHER- AND SHE WAS LAUGHING SO HARD
AND THE WHOLE TIME WHEN WE WERE READING OUR BOOK, I KEPT LOOKING AT THE ANT AND WHISPERING "Amén, hormiga que murió en mi papel."
AND KEREM WAS COVERING LOOKING AWAY, BODY SHAKING FROM LAUGHTER-
then i lost the ant
but kept the paper at home-
and at lunch kerem told my friends everything, and they were dying of laughter.
