Very cool dice mechanic, definitely you should utilize that for another project, something DnD related maybe!

I love the dice mechanic .. just did it myself in a strategy game recently.
Could use a few flow changes on moving around and using the dice, but the throwing dice mechanic is a good one to explore.

Good Job

Nice looking cube and I feel like you can take that mechanic and expand in future iterations/games! My initial suggestion is to expand your audio cues to help the player understand their progression. Nice work here.

If you get a sec this week, would love for you to check my out submission and drop feedback/a rating! https://itch.io/jam/vr-super-jam/rate/1249489

It was really cool (no pun intended)!

I loved the idea, it was a little tricky to find the teleport areas, but hey it's a game jam, we work with that :)

I managed to teleport into the fire at the end!

I think it would have been neat to need fire in an ice room and ice in a fire room.

Nice work!

It's a good beginning, I guess you didn't have time to finish? I'm curious what did you plan to do with the dice system? and why is there ice and fire on the dice? :)

In beginning, I liked the idea about dice in VR. Only how it seemed logical, was in the context with board games. And the idea was to create something like dungeon crawling, a VR board game where a person is a small unit in this game.

Yes, and time is the thing, that was not enough. Dice System took a lot of time, becos when you throw it away, it need to be returned back and give the right result.

Fire and Ice - at the start thot about how fast a person can move.
Ice - one "AP" unit, SLOW.
Fire - 3 "AP" units, FAST.

And its cud be used as the ability to throw Ice balls or spit fire at the enemy. And in a result, it counts as one action.

I think you can now allow your imagination to go wild about what game it could be! :)

Yes! Thanks to the explanation, a VR game where we are the pawn on a board game seems definitely a fun idea , and mixing it with dungeon crawling is smart. But yeah, only 3 days to do all of that seems impossible. You did a good job considering the lack of time

Far too short, and the action points movement led to nothing gameplay-wise. Maybe you could have implemented a consequence to running out of action points?

I agree. it was good work but yeah.

Thank you for playing it! :)
