He peeked out at him curiously

He was oblivious to his surroundings, only paying attention for any potential enemies.
He scooted a bit closer-unintentionally giving Leo a glimpse of his face
He noticed his face, as he squinted his eyes to get a better look at him he ran like a season athlete, jesus that guy was fast.

He went to dive back into the water, iridescent blue and pink tail shimmering behind him
He got to the cave, seeing the rest of his tail.. He didn't know what it was but he did hear a voice. He shrugged it off as nothing and left the scene.
