He ran up to him, almost falling in the sand- He climbed up on the rock, hugging Kai tightly.

He froze up for a moment-then started sobbing as he collapsed into Ren's chest
"..What..What happened Kai..?"
"Mph-M-mn-"
He couldn't force out words between his sobs, shoulders heaving as he clung to Ren
"Let it all out..It's okay..I'm here for you Kai.."
He started rubbing his back, comforting him even if hes awful at it,
He slowly calmed down, cuddling into Ren
"M-Mnn...thank you....."

"..Now can you tell me..?"

He sniffled, looking up at him with watery eyes
