d'ye wan me to start?

Yeeeeeah ;w;

It was the dead of night and you were in your castle, relaxing by the fire-when you heard a pounding at the door

He choked on the fresh brew of tea he had, coughing a little before wondering who could be at the door at this time of night...and more than thay, who ever would come to the "Fearsome" ruler!...Never mind that though, he sat down his cup and walked over to the door, due to his size and height, the steps of his feet were quite honestly loud, he placed his hand on the door...opened it, and..-

There was a young woman standing on the doorstep in the pouring rain, hem of her skirt muddy and torn, hair disheveled. Her face was tearstained and yet-she was carrying herself with as much dignity as she could muster, looking up at him.

"I-I'm really sorry...b-but could I trouble you for a place to stay the night?"

He kinda stared at her for a moment...stepped forward and peeked his head out, looked around...and stepped back, his posture relaxed a bit..-

"...Of course not, I have more than enough room for you, please, help yourself inside. May I ask why you are out here, im assuming, all alone?"

"I-w-well...I um....I sort've-got lost...."

She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, terrified and embarrassed. She was trembling, partially from cold and partially from fear

He placed a hand behind her and gently pulled her inside, just enough so he could close the door

"Well alright...you should know that it's dangerous being outside in the cold, especially on one of these days, could i help you with a cup of tea? Don't worry, i made a fresh brew not to long ago!"

"I-w-well um i-if it's not too much trouble-"

Strange, she really didn't seem afraid of him

(...I hate that I know exactly what you're referencing.)

-"...Interesting..."-

"Trust me, it really isn't, now go ahead and warm yourself beside the fire, I'll go and make you a cup.."
