Th Naga basically looked at him and knew, he's gonna have to fight this guy to get him so come isn't he. So instead he makes a nice plan to yk knock him out before he can do anything.
the naga took him back to the cave and like tied/chained him to a bunch of stuff to make sure he doesn’t try anything and leaves closing the entrance behind him AGAIN
