(ok then I'm going to say greek mythology but I'm also going to say a little bit of a twist-the gods sort of exist outside of time, so the underworld is very much like a sprawling NY city type thing and Mt. Olympus is a lot like L.A. And then I'm going to give you TWO romance myth options cuz Imma level-there's...not a lot of good love stories in ancient greek mythology that don't end in tradgedy. So you get Hades x Persephone or Psyche x Eros.
