"Weeeell not a killing machine, but thank you, now yes to the bar or no? Im dying to get a drink"

"Ohhhhh no-no no no no no you are NOT coming with me-"

She started to run off

(1 edit)

Buuuut thanks to her hood, all he had to do was grab ahold of it and was gently jerked back

"Ohh no no no nooooo, your not leaving with me, one thiefs, there's literally one running down the street now, Two I can always wake the king myself and make him come after you, and Three, you won't get far, so I recommend you to stop"

She struggled against him, trying to thrash her way out of his grip

"ARGH-One, yeah I know a fair bit about thieves, I AM one-and you can't be too good at protecting against them either, since that one just stole that fancy little dagger you were carrying-Two-like I told you, I paid off his guards, you'll never get close to him, and three-"

She twisted around and punched him square in his currently unprotected by a helmet jaw, falling out of his grasp as it loosened from the shock and sprinting down the street

"You underestimate me!"

She laughed, as she turned the corner and disappeared down the dark, twisting alleyways that she knew like the back of her hand

He just slowly looked back straight...looking down the darkness, and oddly...his voiced seemed to deepen, as if some entity, (And no there is none lol), had taken control and was speaking for him, and when he began to walk...no...run after her, his steps sounded much...much heavier

"Oh Darlin darlin darlin...That was the most Pathetic punch I ever felt, and that dagger? Not going to be useful against me, you may not know this, but i've seen your plans...that's why i set some little surprises for you in the dark...you won't get far...and when I catch you...You'll regret ever...touching me"

She shook her head and forced herself to ignore him-she just had to make it the tavern, juuuust a little farther-and-she burst through the door and quickly slammed it shut, locking it and blocking the flood of light from breaking out into the alley

"Everyone listen to me-we need to lock it down!!!"

But almost in an instant...his voice was heard on the other side of the door, how did he get there so quickly!?

"Oh Darling...that won't help you, you have already fallen into my trap! All the exit's have been blocked, all the weapons and tools in there have been taken, and your friends...well they aren't even friends, they controlled you Princess...they've been around you to try and get close too you, for your gold, for your prizes, how do i know this? Well...have you ever wondered where your necklace has gone...the one with the blue gem in it? Ask the one...with the burn on his hand"

She shook her head, back pressed against the door

"You think I don't know what they're after!? And believe me, dearest, they're NOT my friends-they're drinking buddies, I don't trust them as far as I could throw them-and how do you think I lost that necklace!? I GAMBLED it, and while yes I'm willing to bet good old Quincy here cheated, I win back as much as I lose and I. DON'T. CARE."

And he just cut her off, he knew she was about to speak more

"And yet you were willing to bet your mothers necklace away, with no regard at all? Tell me princess...how do you actually feel...about losing something your mother gave you? Did you feel regret...did you feel remorse? Or...did you really...just not care, for your mothers...things?"

that actually struck a nerve with her-

"THAT WASN'T-...she took a deep breath...that wasn't hers. It was something my father gave her, but it wasn't-hers."
