"Ah-I beg your pardon sir, but I haven't the faintest clue what you mean."

She gave him a demure smile and sat back down on the bench with a sweep of her skirts, picking up her book and focusing back on it

"Ah, now I see why the past Knights quit, you made them, didn't you? Welp, that won't happen with me"

He smiled at her, did she se-, obviously not mind me! he has a helmet on! {Take 2}, She did not notice the smile...but he didn't care if she did, he just took steps to beside the bench, stood next to it...and placed the tip of his blade onto the ground as he holds the handle

"I would never do such a thing. All of those knights were brave, bold men and I respected each of them greatly."

(1 edit)

He did not answer her...he just stood there, holding the blade tightly...he almost looked like a statue, iiiiiiif it wasn't for the slight moving every now and then TvT

She let out a small sigh and continued reading-time skippyyyyy-

the sun began to set and the church bells tolled 8-the princess's curfew

"I presume this is about the time you leave, correct?"

She closed her book and stood up, brushing off her skirts

"You would be correct-it's about time I retired to my room."

"If that's what to must do, let me escort you back, I promised the king I would stay by your side at all times.."

She nodded

"Of course...thank you, Sir Roland."

"It's really no problem. now let us get a move on, we would not to be late, nor let you get cold"
