Janus trudged through the flowers taller than him, stretching their delicate petals towards the sun, keeping his neck craned towards the castle, never losing sight of it-he had to be close, right?

it was very sudden when he burst out of it, entering into the small grassy clearing that surrounded the castle-and came face to face with two guards at the small side entrance

???: "HUMAN!! GO-SOUND THE ALARM!-"

The other guard went sprinting off as the first leveled his spear at Janus, going to stab him-

But he quickly grabbed the tip of the spear and pushed it to the side, it going into the rather strange and thick flowers stem

The guard struggled to pull his spear out, but it gave Janus just enough time to sprint through the entrance as the alarm started blaring

And that's what he had done, spriting out into the field, trying not to attract any more guards

he made it through the entrance just as a group of guards was reaching it, looking curiously-but they just missed a glimpse of Janus running down the hall, looking around frantically for a set of stairs or anything that could give him the slightest hint as to where Rayden was.
