He managed to get the trapdoor open, climbing up just in time as the creature reached up to grab at him-and emerged from a small toolshed into....a beautiful, sprawling gardens. And off in the distance, so, so very close, attached to these gardens-the large stone walls of the castle.
The sun had just risen-it was morning. He had survived one cruel night in the catacombs...and the exhaustion of fleeing left him with no other choice but to pass out asleep-oki nowz we switch over to Rayden.
Rayden woke up once again in the warm, soft bed he shared with his king, sleepy and happy
