He looked back just once and smiled, slowed down a bit and looked ahead
"Wonderful..."
His throne was just ahead, thorny chair rising up out of the center of an inconspicuous ring of toadstools, a faerie ring, a portal to his realm...one step into it and the little human would be trapped, unable to see the world outside and helpless from falling into the new one, unable to be saved by mortal pests...all he needed was a name and the little songbird would be his forever. Just three little words, a string of consonants and vowels, and the human would belong to him...
Rayden couldn't help himself from succumbing to the warm, heavy feeling in his limbs, eyes fluttering shut and body going limp as he fell asleep.
"Nnnh~"
A mind numbing wave of blankness and heat crashed over Rayden, and suddenly his name was his no longer, and he could not remember what it was or even having it-all that mattered was the beautiful creature who was holding him in his arms, who would take of him forever if only he listened to him...he smiled dreamily, resting his head against his chest.
Janus screamed out for Rayden-he had to be here somewhere, he had to be-he couldn't have left-with every passing moment he grew more concerned, desperate to find him-finally, he stumbled into a clearing-and saw Rayden, beautiful, kind Rayden-staring lovingly up at the fucking Fae King.
"Shit...no-no no no no no-RAYDEN!!"
He screamed out, hoping, pleading to snap Rayden out of it-Rayden's head lifted a bit, blinking with confusion.
"W..."
