Virgil hesitantly took Logan's hand and gave him a tiny, shy but genuine smile, letting Logan help him off the table and lead him over to the kitchen

He took a deep breath and watched them go into the next room...but the moment they did...Hero's smile quickly began to crumble and his eyes seemed to swell...this was all happening even WITH roman in the room...

He didn't respond to his question...hell it was as if he didn't even hear Roman...almost as if he was in his own head

"F-Fuck...w-w-why does he looks s-so fucking f-familiar t-to him...w-w-why does he look l-like him...w-why...why why why why-"

He kept repeating the word why for several seconds...before he slowly began to chant the words to himself..."it's my fault"

Roman quickly ran over and hugged him tightly, rubbing his back gently

"Shhh...hush love, hush sweetheart....it's not your fault, it's not-shhh...shhh-I'm here, we're all here-it's going to be ok, you're going to be just fine..."

As the chanting slowly stopped...the sobbin began...his tail coiled around Roman and his arms held onto him tightly...his voice sounded so...hurt...he must've been in so...much...pain

"W-W-Why must he look like h-h-him...W-Why? W-Why does he reminded m-me of him..."

He stroked Hero's hair, holding onto him and murmuring into his ear

"I know....I know it hurts....but I promise you it's going to be ok....I'm here for you my love, I'm right here-I'll stay here as long as you need...."
