Xada was across the room working on something else, he seemed to be a little tense as he still felt bad about doing what he had to do

He sat up, rubbing his eyes. Huh...that was strange...AEL wasn't supposed to be able to move freely on his own...generally he was meant to stay in the same position until given a command, his range of movement limited. He felt...different....strange...

"-sigh-, Jesus...i've heard of horrible owners but...this one...he's just fucking awful, what type of owner does...THAT to them..."

He said these things quietly to himself, he had leaned forward and grabbed his own head, slowly gripping onto his hair

He sat crosslegged on the table, looking at Xada with some concern. Thoughts flowed to him much clearer than before, like everything that had been trapped inside of him and suddenly been released

"E-Excuse me...a-are you ok? You...look really conflicted-"

His eyes widened-had-had he just spoken outside of his programming!? He was distinctly aware of it still-a vague humming in the back of his head telling him what he was supposed to do-and yet it no longer controlled him-it felt like he could say no to it, defy it, choose what he wanted-h-he felt so free....his heart fluttered, a feeling of pure elation running through his chest. He was free-he was finally, FINALLY free-
