(God i could just listen to you make a fucking story all day :3)
(Oh thank youuuuuu-again, can't take credit cuz this be a book but I am vibinnnnnnnnnn-)
???: "This also explains your immunity. In fact, when you defeated the pathogens yesterday, your being Lunar was the first possibility to cross my mind, but I didn't want to say anything until I'd confirmed it.
"What does this have to do with immunity...?"
???: "Lunars are immune to the disease, of course."
"No, not of course!! This is not common knowledge!!!"
???: "Oh. Well, it is common sense when you know the history....which, most people don't."
???: "You see...Lunars are the original carrier hosts for Letumosis. Their migrations to the rural areas of Earth under the reign of Queen Channary brought the disease into contact with humans for the first time."
"I thought I wasn't contagious..."
???: "You aren't now, because your body has developed means of ridding itself of the disease."
"No-y-you're wrong...I-I can't be-"
???: "I know this is a lot. But you CAN'T be here when Her Majesty arrives. It's far too dangerous-"
"N-No-I-I am not one of them!!"
(Hehehehehe-)
???: "Ms. Linh, you were brought to this planet for a reason. To survive. You cannot let the queen see you."
"Why...why would she care about me...."
???: "She would care very much about you. She-she hates Lunar shells. Shells are immune to the Lunar glamour-their brainwashing. Queen Levana can't control shells, and she fears that which she cannot control-she will stop at nothing to kill those who would resist her-people like you. Do you understand me Ms. Linh? If she sees you, she will kill you. Please, please leave."
She just barely heard, watching as text scrolled across the bottom of her retina display
Just announced: Lunar Queen Levana to come to the Eastern Commonwealth for Peace Alliance discussions.
".......ok. I'll leave."
And nowwwwww-we do a perspective shift to Kai-Because Queen Levana is here.
(Oh it only gets better >:3)
The lunar spacecraft wasn't much different from those on Earth, except that it's body shimmered as if it was inlaid with diamonds, a string of gold runes encircling it's hull. The ship was far too bright in the afternoon sun. The ship landed without a jolt, heat rising from the concrete in blistering waves. The silk of Kai's shirt clung to his back as they waited. On Kai's other side, Sybil Mira stood perfectly composed, her guard standing a few feet behind her. Finally, when the queen seemed to grow tired of having them wait, the ramp of the ship descended. Two men came down first- one was Levana's guard, The other wore a coat similiar to Sybil's but in red, indicating his lower status as a second-tier thaumaturge. Sybil slinked forward, and Kai choked in a breath. Queen Levana appeared at the top of the stairs. Her long white veil was draped over her face, blinding in the sun. Her white dress whispered around her hips as she glided down the steps and accepted Sybil's hand
"Our separation was insufferable. I am pleased to be in your service once more, my queen."
She stood and lifted the veil back from Levana's head
