She sighed,
"Hey,it's alright, i may not understand you but i can still care for you....now why don't we go find us some food?"
She nodded
He smiled and lifted her up, resting her on his shoulder as he starts walking out of the ditch
She nuzzled into him

She was just happy-
He petted her as he walked towards the forest, drawing his pistol just in case
there was no one there but the other swans
