She shook her head
"N-No...I-I have to stay....:
"W-What do you mean? Y-You'll get hurt again, i cant let that happen!"
"I-I-I don't have a choice-p-please j-just go-"
"....Ugh, F-Fine, just take this, it might not do m-much but it's something!"
He said as he unclipped his gun again, holding it out to her
She hesitantly took it
"T-Thank you..."
"No problem...s-see you when this is over w-with..."
He said as he turned around. and quickly headed to a ditch nearby
A large hawk flew down from the sky and landed, turning into a tall, scary ass looking man. He grinned, showing sharp teeth
"Hello, my rosebud....-"
She flinched, shrinking into herself

(Yes please!! Basically-this is a ploy to get her to break down so that she'll give in to him and marry him-making him the successor to her kingdom AND gaining what he considers a "nice trophy" in the process.)
