He gasped, trying frantically to breathe, not knowing how to swim without his fins, water filling his lungs-

He took a deep breath of air, back arching as he took his first real breaths, gasping
He was then "Thrown" onto shore, his shoulder being scraped by a rock...not quite a gentle ride don't ya think?
He flinched, letting out a silent shout of pain-he fell facedown on the sand and passed out.
His hair was covered in sand, tho that changed as well when a small wave washed over his hair, being washed out...his shoulder dripping slowly with blood
He was just passed out. Flounder and Sebastian reached the shore-they'd been frantically looking for him-can you do flounder?
"K-Kai! A-Are you alright?!...K-Kai?"
Sebastian climbed outta the water and crawled over to him. His eyes widened
"HF-F-Flounder...F-Flounder he has....l-legs..."
"W-What?! H-How is that even P-Possible!? He's a merman!"
