They lowered their spears, backing up. Kappa smiled brightly at Siren, eyes sparkling

He held out his hand for Kappa, offering to help him up
He took it and hugged him
Siren smiled and hugged him back, finally feeling...relieved
He cuddled into him happily, he finally felt safe and warm, like he had a home-
