Kai quickly but gently let go and dove off into the water
Kai peeked his head up from the water, looking at him with big scared eyes
He made a very loud splash, distracting Ren's family and making them think he was in the water
"...HF-"
He started singing. He just wanted to distract them long enough that Ren could sneak back to the castle or at least have a headstart-
"N-NO!! D-DON'T HURT HIM-P-PLEASE!!"
