As someone with dyslexia, this was triggering PTSD from every spelling test I ever made. I might have made a few mistakes, but you are not punished for your actions. I also think you need to add some more pressure to the player, via a timer or something like that. And I think this game needs some audio. Maybe you could ask Vincent to add some voice acting to create the ultimate masterpiece!
