"T-Their should be a cave just north-east of her...we can go there"
Trying to swim with him so it's easier...his tail was sprained, or well twisted to a point where it's hard to move them at all
"Alright-d-don't try to swim too much, ok?"
He swam through the passages, finally reaching the exit
"N-Ngmhm...R-Right..."
He swam over to the caves and eventually reached it, gently letting go of Siren
He settled his hand against the wall and moved himself to an area he could sit at
"Okay...note to self, don't be inside of a collapsing cave"

He smiled, laughing a little and sitting next to him
"H-Heh...Well we should p-probably wait till d-dark, best chance for movement.."
"I-I wouldn't do that if I were you...."
"Eh? W-What do you-, oh right...Your glow...Erm...fine, we'll start moving the moment i can swi-"
He tries making himself get up, trying to swim up...yet he just falls back down
"Ugh...i can't even swim now..."
"Hey d-don't hurt yourself! W-We can stay here until you're able to swim again, don't push it!"
