Peter hadn't woken up. Doctors and healers were at a loss, his burns had healed but he was just-comatose. The first week this had been fine, but then...the scarring had started. It was everyday. His body would glow a brilliant red, and a new scar, a new wound, would form on his body. There was no rhyme or reason to the placing, or the size or depth of it. But it was constant, and it was KILLING HIM.
