She smiled and opened the back closet and bent down a little, grabbed the stool.

He stopped as he took the stool from her and set it down for her, sitting on it

"How did you end up here?"

"Well, I mean...uhm-..so..the prior week to me being 18, I moved out immediately and I lived with a friend for about 2 months then I finally got a place and I was already looking for jobs..so I got this job and when I did it was easy..as long as I got things better..now I have my own apartment, my own job and I'm starting to go to college..also you should know, I'm 20.."
