Apparently I lost even though nobody voted for me? 3 people voted for Opal and another 3 voted for Amethyst.
Hey, one of the aims of the game is to get the group to come to a consensus as to who to blame. The group being evenly split like that means that they were still undecided when the police came, so the police ended up looking deeper into the case and that led to your arrest.
