He bent down, getting eye level with Sam
Sam: -he gently put his hands around Kaz' face, holding it- I care about you. Even if you leave me here for weeks without end, I'll still be here. So if something is wrong please tell me ok? and we can try and fix it. Don't lie.

His bottom lip quivered, tears spilling out
"S-Sam...-"
Sam: -he let go of his face and hugged him-
"Hf-"
He hugged him back tightly, crying
"quietly I-I-I'm sorry-I-I'm so sorry-"
