Hi ClassicGamer,

Usually we wouldn't reply to personal opinions as such, but as your reaction was something that took us both by surprise, we thought we would respond. For anyone else reading our response to this comment, please be advised that there will be some spoilers for anyone who hasn't played Angel's route and wants to.

First of all, whilst your anger is understandable by Haruka getting beaten up, the purpose of Angel's route in particular is to demonstrate her escaping an abusive situation. Often times those who are the partners of those suffering can be targeted by the perpetrator, and hurt as a result. Abuse is something harrowing and that many of us have been through, so this was in no way to condone accepting violence. However, if it was simply about there being a lack of choice, LOVE BAKUDAN is a kinetic visual novel with very minimal choice, with the only choices being the quiz at the start to select your route and the bookselling.

It's entirely your decision and we won't presume to know the reasons why this affected you in such a way, but we hope that if you feel calm enough to you decide to give it another chance.

Well....honestly wasn't expecting a reply. I guess I should first state that by no means is your game bad. In fact, it had me hooked from the beginning which is something that I have trouble finding from games or novels nowadays. It's just that I have three pet peeves when it comes to the content of any game or book I enjoy, and that  is NTR, rape, and a weak/submissive main character. Now I get that the MC isn't necessarily submissive or weak (probably...I haven't finished the game yet so I don't know), but when I see them getting their butt whooped and they choose not to fight back I just can't help but get angry. I have dropped many games, books, manga's, etc. in the past when I saw any of the three previously mention pet peeves and almost never pick them back up.  I'm sorry about the angry comment, I just sometimes feel the need to express my irritation even when it is definitely not needed.
