He really didn't care because he still had to do his things and get it out of the way so he continued.
that's when he heard it:

???:"Pft, you'd bet on a woman-"
"Oh? Would you like to step into this arena yourself?"
He rolled his eyes and continued on with his stuff, he didn't give a goddamn what his future wife or the future princess did.
???:"Heh-I don't think you could handle that, sweetheart-I damn near bested the prince himself-"
"And that's such an accomplishment?"
???:"He's the best fighter in the realm-"
"Pffftt-the best fighter hm? I'm sure I could take him in my sleep!"
He started to train again, he knew what the guy said was a lie and what she was saying wasn't making him "fire up." He honestly didn't care what anybody thought to him so her still talking about him isn't doing shit.
???:"Fine then princess-stand and face me."
