She ran inside, calling out for her

A girl came out of the house "W-What's going on?"
"Why does she have a patch ON the spot where you get your mark..?"
He mumbled.
???:"My lady, might I inquire about the patch on your cheek?"
"Oh-this?" She held a hand over her cheek self consciously
"R-Recent injury-it's not uncommon out here-"
"Well, that's where you get your mark so she's obviously hiding something."
He mumbled after.
???:"Would you mind terribly...showing us the injury...?"
"I...n-no but it isn't exactly pleasant..."
"Ah-Excuses..What for?"
He said, getting off the horse and walking over to her house.
