The king and queen sat on their throne while the king chatted happily with his best friend, the king from a neighboring kingdom. Prince Briar was in his crib, just like making happy baby noises idk man babies are gross. The three good fairies, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather, gathered around the crib to bestow gifts on him.
One (Flora) grants her the gift of beauty and another (Fauna) grants her the gift of song but before the last fairy can give her gift she is abruptly stopped by the grand entrance of an evil fairy, Maleficent
“I hope I’m not too late for the party.”
Everyone gasps, as they all stare in fear and shock
“”to-to-“ oh spare me. Aw would you look at that child… could be more beautiful. Nothing for beauty like some beauty sleep.”
She raises her hand to the sky as her power fills the room, everyone feels a terrible feeling of dread and sadness
“Before the sun sets on his sixteenth birthday, he shall prick his finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel… and DIE.”
Maleficent casts the curse and laughs maniacally as she disappears in a puff of smoke.
