Unplayable bug/Something that could use a fix

I downloaded the game.  I was in the settings and I was changing the screen to make it bigger.  I went one setting too high I guess. I can only see the bottom left side of the game so I can't fix the setting or anything of the sort.  I trashed the game and redownload it.  but I guess it connects to your website or something.  so it's saved the setting change.  which has rendered it unplayable.  I turned my computer off with no luck.

I'll look through the other posts to see if someone had a similar problem.

Edit: this is on PC the windows 64bit.

You can edit the preferences file in USER/.prefs/tales-of-androgyny-preferences, change the width and height values to something smaller. It's weird, because the options should pull from your monitor resolution options - what was the large setting that was too big for your monitor?

Thanks, fixed it. the preset was 3840 x 2160.  I think a lot of games have a Feature where if you don't hit confirm the resolution resets because of this issue.

Yeah, I'm gonna add one of those, but it auto-detects your monitor's supported resolutions so it should really never be a problem. It's especially a problem because I default it based on those supported resolutions, and some people have the problem immediately before they can set it (although hard to tell how many of those reports are from before the auto-detect feature was put in)
