won't start please help

I have bought the game and i open it and i see the developer logo but then its just a blue-ish gray screen i have used 32 and 64 bits and none of them work can someone help me

Hey QuickScope0.

Try renaming the following folder: C:\Users\*username*\AppData\LocalLow\Glitch Pitch\Idol Manager and restart the game. If it doesn't work, delete the folder and try again.

Keep in mind that your saved games are stored there (in case you have any), so you might wanna backup the folder before renaming/deleting it.

Hello, sorry for the necro. I've been getting the same issue although I can open the game without any problems before.
I've renamed my folder and also tried deleting that folder, and the issue still persists. Any help?

If you're on steam you might need to disable cloud saves for now, or it'll keep restoring your old files

For people who have the same problem as me, just backup your manual saves and story mode folder.

It works until I restart/hibernate my PC unfortunately. I have to repeat the process of backing up my saves and deleting the \Idol Manager folder.

Can you please upload your "Idol Manager" folder? And also, do you have any mods installed?

Now that I've removed my mods, it works fine. Guess I forgot the first step of removing mods before looking for solutions for my issue. 

I'm using 3 mods:
Idol Manager: Slice Of (Office)
Punk Rock Outfits
More Haircolors 1.03

Thanks for the quick reply, I'll bring this issue to the modders instead.

I think it could be the "espresso event" in IM:SOOF, I see it causing similar issues for other people too
