"Well we could have them learn our tongue-though it would be slow going. I doubt our spellcasters could cast translation spells on all 100 of them-and I doubt that they could even get too close to the humans without them panicking...what we really need right now is a translator..."

"A translator...A translator! Perfect! Of course...cause qe're definitely going to find a translator in this horrendous crowd of humans!"

The servant sighed

"It wouldn't hurt to look into it..."

(sorry I'll respond when I get home but I came to my piano/violin lesson with 25% charge and now I'm at 12% so sorry T-T)

(Oh no it's totally fine!)

Amon sighed and said, "Fine. . .I suppose that I can look into it if you get me some books. It might take me a while though. Take these humans to their bedrooms, please."

"Of course but I'm saying we should consider-it is possible that one of these humans can speak our language..."

"One of-. . . Fine then. . ." Amon gets off of his throne and stands where everyone can see him. "Does anyone here speak our language? I need a personal translator to help me speak with these humans. And. . .you don't have to marry me if you ate my translator."

"..."

Most of the women stayed silent, shrinking away from him. They clearly didn't understand-but Amon was perceptive. VERY perceptive. Which meant he noticed the way one of the women's eyes widened when he mentioned marriage

Amon whispered to his servant. "That one."
