This game is really well made, the concept of it was really good. The atmosphere and the creepiness of it fit nicely. The idea of two endings was a really nice addon that made it even better. Great game!
The idea is good but the execution is fairly mediocre. There's barely any horror segments and visuals are a bit too bright for my taste. Still kinda fun for what it is. Completed both endings.
This was really well done! Liked the concept, atmosphere, sound effects and the ability to choose from the license plate was really cool. Adding two endings was a nice touch as well. It'd be really awesome if we could know what actually happened but since we're a security guard that's above our paygrade lol. Keep up the great work!
What an excellent game, Kyle! This game had me nervous the whole time because I was expecting the worst to happen. I really love the fact that you used PSX-styled graphics because it makes the game eerier. Very nice sound effects and I also like that there's no music because it makes the game feel even creepier. I would love to learn more about the backstory of Nova Nexus! Also, I did experience a bug where the cars would just go through the gate without stopping (this sometimes happened after completing the game and playing again without closing it). I could send you a video of the glitch if you want. Also, I put the link to this game in a Discord server I'm in so that others can check it out!
Recorded a video with this game for my latest Free Games Friday episode. Simple yet haunting game with amazing sound design and great jumpscares. Can't wait to play more!
*Potential spoilers* The idea behind this, was the research facility is conducting experiments (kinda resi mixed with half life vibes). So the buildings you could see are more for the low level staff of Nova Nexus, the higher level staff who do all the big research and experiments are in an underground base (this is why when the explosion happens you never see fire or smoke from the buildings as it was underground). The experiment goes totally wrong and that is when the calls start happening. The thing that happens awakes a sort of ghostly demon monster from another plane and that is why the base is shut down and 'Kill everything' protocol is activated so nothing gets out.
In regards to the endings.
With Ending 1, The Car that lands on the broken down car was chucked by the demon monster thing from the car park. So basically - it got out!
Ending 2 is the phones calling the families of the dead. You're the phone near the screen. The big thing that comes out of the base is something that basically creates a massive creator in that part of the world.

I'm really liking the recent wave of PS1 inspired indie games. It's not a thing I expected, and this is a great example!

yea, I tried to start it up like 5 times and the same thing kept happening, it normally happens after the opening credits

Have you tried pushing 'E'. It's mentioned on the page as UI Controls/Select Option. Hope that helps!
