The only things remotely close to a monster grabbing an ally is when the Dark Fairy puts Evie to sleep or the Giant Spider entangles Evie in webs.
Maybe the monsters don't find Evie sexy enough to mess around with, LOL
Maybe..because it's my sense they might be additional NPC join main character in fight near future when exploring.
